MADONNA ET LE YOGA

After a trip to India, the queen of pop has opted for the practice of yoga to keep fit. Since 1996, she devoted herself to Ashtangi Yoga and meditation instead of jogging 10 km and 4:00 daily gym she used to pratiquer.Elle is not the only Hollywood to choose this both physical and spiritual discipline, Sting and Jane Fonda are set too,The latter has even published a video program! YOGA talking about but there are actually many types of yoga.
They differ according to their purpose, objective or desired effects:

Abhidhyam Yoga focuses on the contemplative life
Bhakti Yoga focuses on love and devotion
Hatha Yoga oriented body postures and
Mantra Yoga focuses on recitation and repetition of words and verses Karma Yoga focuses on action and work

Kundalini Yoga focuses on self-realization
Jnana Yoga focuses on the mind
Raja Yoga focuses on meditation

And now there are more forms of Yoga
contemporary:
Yoga practiced by Madonna and many stars
is Ashtanga Yoga or Power Yoga, a form of
Yoga develops aerobic endurance and strength.
Another form of yoga practiced in more
West, Vini Yoga. This practice favors
person taking into account their aspirations,
its capabilities, its health, time available,
its environment, lifestyle and culture.
For pregnant women, the practice of Yoga is
also recommended the Prenatal Yoga and
postures specifically investigated.
